G7 Silicon Fiberglass Laminate and Tube

G7 silicone glass cloth laminates and tubes are high-performance laminated products manufactured using alkali-free glass cloth as the reinforcement and silicone resin as the matrix. Engineered for extreme conditions, they feature a heat resistance class of H (180℃) and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 200–220℃. These products are the preferred materials for high-temperature electrical insulation and arc protection.

Key Characteristics & Advantages These robust materials deliver exceptional stability and safety in demanding environments:

  • High Heat Resistance: Thermal class H, with a glass transition temperature (TG) ≥ 180℃.

  • Superior Electrical Performance: Exhibits low dielectric loss, stable electrical performance even in humid environments, and excellent arc resistance.

  • Mechanical Strength: Provides high mechanical strength for durable applications.

  • Safety: Features self-extinguishing properties.

  • Compliance: Fully complies with NEMA G-7, MIL-I-24768/17, and IEC 60893-3 Type 6 standards.

Industrial Applications The core advantages of G7 materials lie in their arc resistance and electrical stability at high temperatures. They are widely utilized for insulation and protection in fields such as electric power, metallurgy, welding, and electronics:

  • G7 Laminate Applications: Serves perfectly as slot wedges for H-class motors, insulating structural parts in various electrical applications, and arc-resistant high-temperature structural components in electrical equipment.

  • G7 Tube Applications: Highly effective as welding torch nozzle insulating sleeves, protective cable tubes, and ground clamp insulating sleeves.
