Phenolic Paper Laminates are manufactured by impregnating insulation paper with phenolic resin, followed by baking, pressing, and curing processes. This versatile material is designed for use as insulating structural parts in motors and electrical equipment, and it is highly suitable for operation within transformer oil.

Type Characteristics

• 3020 / PFCP202: Designed primarily for higher voltage instruments. These grades offer good electrical properties in oil and under normal conditions. PFCP202 offers superior performance compared to 3020.

• 3021 / PFCP203: Suitable for both mechanical and electrical applications. These grades exhibit good electrical properties in oil and under normal conditions and are applicable for hot punching.

• PFCP201 / X: Primarily intended for mechanical use. Extensively used for test instruments of PCBs and electric parts; applicable for hot punching.

• PFCP207 / XPC: Designed primarily for cold punching and shearing. Similar to PFCP201 but optimized for punching practice under lower temperatures. Commonly used for drilling backup boards and PCB supporting frames.
