Phenolic Cotton Rod

The Phenolic Cotton Rod is manufactured from high-quality cotton fabric impregnated with phenolic resin. The material is first heated into a prepreg and rolled into a rod shape. Finally, it is placed into molds of various diameters and cured under high temperature and pressure to form a rigid laminated rod. This robust material is perfectly suited for both mechanical and electrical applications.

Standards and Classifications We produce Phenolic Cotton Rods that strictly comply with international standards to meet various industrial requirements:

  • GOST Standard: 3721, 3722, 3723, 3724, 3725

  • IEC Standard: PFCC41, PFCC42, PFCC43

  • NEMA Standard: C, CE, L, LE

Type Characteristics

  • 3722, 3723, 3724, 3725: These grades are similar to NEMA Grades C, CE, L, and LE, respectively. They are primarily intended for mechanical and electrical applications, with grade 3725 specifically allowing for fine processing.

  • PFCC41, PFCC42, PFCC43: These are IEC Grades, categorized by fabric type. PFCC41 is made with fine cloth, PFCC42 with coarse cloth, and PFCC43 with extra coarse cloth.
