Ripple Spring Sheets

The Ripple Spring Laminate is a specialized corrugated material manufactured by immersing alkali-free glass cloth in high-temperature resistant semiconductor resin. The material is then dried and hot-pressed in a precise mold. Engineered with high mechanical, dielectric, and heat resistance properties, it is highly suitable for fixing materials within large generator slots.

Features and Functions This material utilizes a unique corrugated structure to deliver exceptional performance:

  • Vibration Isolation & Buffering: Absorbs and reduces vibrations and shocks during motor operation. Acts as an isolation or buffer gasket to minimize the impact of mechanical vibrations.

  • Sealing & Protection: Effectively prevents dust, moisture, and impurities from entering the motor, protecting its normal operation and extending service life.

  • Elastic Connection: Serves as a flexible joint or transmission component, allowing a certain degree of displacement and deformation to reduce mechanical stress.

  • Electromagnetic Shielding: Designed with special materials to offer electromagnetic shielding functions, reducing interference and protecting surrounding electronic equipment.

Industrial Applications In electric motors, corrugated plates are typically installed in the stator bar slots between the slot wedges and the stator bars. They securely fix the stator bars through the elastic prestress generated by their compressive deformation. For large generators, multiple layers of corrugated plates are often overlapped to provide greater pressure, ensuring the highly reliable fixation of stator coils.
