GRE with SS Metal Core Sandwich Laminate

This specially engineered plate is constructed by bonding high-strength epoxy fiberglass laminates (GRE) to both sides of a stainless steel core. Through this innovative sandwich design, the plate perfectly combines the formidable strength of traditional metal plates with excellent and comprehensive electrical insulation properties.

Core Material Configurations

  • Stainless Steel Core: The standard core utilizes 316 stainless steel plate. However, we can provide different types of stainless steel, such as 625, to meet specific customer requirements.

  • Epoxy Fiberglass Laminates: The standard outer laminate is G10 epoxy fiberglass resin. For applications requiring higher temperature resistance, G11 material is also available.

Custom Processing & Applications Beyond standard plates, RDS has the advanced capability to process these sheets into precision gaskets. These specialized gaskets are designed to provide reliable sealing and exceptional dielectric insulation performance for flanges operating under critical working conditions.
